An external civil rights audit of Facebook commissioned by the social media platform itself has shown that even liberal groups and users have been throttled if and when their ideas do not conform with the spearhead of today’s radical progressive agenda.
The auditors wrote, “Many in the civil rights community have become frustrated after years of engagement where they implored the company to do more to advance equality and fight discrimination, while also safeguarding free expression.”
This is just the latest in a series of revelations that show that social media is bowing down to the radical left — and only the radical left. Classical liberals will soon face just as much heat as MAGA hat-wearing conservatives.
Over the years since Donald Trump became President, conservatives who support him have been facing increasing scrutiny, condemnation, and baseless censorship at the hands of the big tech companies. It started when everyday people posting news stories and articles they liked saw the number of responses from their “friends” and acquaintances go down.
At first, we only thought it strange, but after a while, we began to suspect that the big tech companies were breaking their promise to act as platforms and not like publishers. If you remember, Facebook was advertised in the early and middle 2000s as a place where anyone could post anything they saw fit. It was meant to be what MySpace was failing to be — a place for a person to express him or herself freely.
Today, Facebook has strayed far from its original promise. In recent years, the fears and suspicions of Trump supporters have increasingly been vindicated by the corroboration of fellow users. More importantly, the journalism of Project Veritas has proven without any shadow of doubt that the big tech companies are in fact censoring conservative views.
On Pinterest, for example, Christian posts and posters have been labeled via algorithm as pornography. The same thing has happened to the conservative YouTube channel PragerU, and others.
After the 2016 election, a video was leaked in which Google leadership spoke before a vast group of people from the various Silicon Valley tech companies decrying Trump’s election and wringing their hands over their failure to prevent Trump from reaching the White House.
At this point, it is important to recognize that the mainstream left has canceled voices like that of Martin Luther King JR. MLK, who said that we should judge people by the content of their character and not the color of their skin is wholly in line with modern conservative thought. Yet, those who still promote civil rights based on his ideas are censored on Facebook. That is what the audit discovered.
This may come as a shock to many conservatives who have grown accustomed to being shutdown on Facebook, YouTube, and other major platforms. But it is still a shock to classical liberals.
This is precisely the sort of thing that is bringing record numbers of people out of the progressive and liberal movements and inspiring them to support our current president.

I have posted articles from other sources, including Western Journal, to Facebook to be Public, and then I can’t find the articles except possibly on my Facebook Page. I definitely feel that the articles I have posted have very good content, be it Conservative content, and merit sharing with others. I have often felt that the powers that be at Facebook have another viewpoint. I will continue my efforts in this regard.
Facebook is the enemy within our country brainwashing the unintelligent to riot, loot and destroy. Sickening how they censor the truth.

I agree , if we want to keep America free, and be able to vote freely for a candidate that is upholding our constitutional rights instead of taking them away, the only way it will stay free is exposing and doing something about the attempts at big media in trying to “fix” our elections by publishing false narratives and essentially brainwashing the weak minded. why is it… the liberals are becoming increasingly intolerant and turning to violence if they do not get their way…things like silencing us?
there needs to be a separation of news media and social media from politics and government. Just like the danger of having the gov deciding our religion. Now the new threat is social media giants and news media giants that are pushing their liberal agenda which is the arm of the democrats.
