California’s Formula for Voter Fraud

Although Hillary Clinton claims she won the popular vote in the 2016 presidential election by nearly three million votes, most — if not all — of that number can be discounted by the obscene amount of voter fraud occurring in Democratic strongholds throughout the country. In fact, if one leaves out the figures for California alone, President Donald Trump would have won the popular vote nationwide in the election.

It’s interesting to note that partially due to this fact, surveys have shown that as many as one in three Californians would choose to have their state secede from the U.S. (some news outlets have referred to this as “Calexit”) — a sentiment shared by residents in other states, but not to the degree shown in California. Of course, it’s highly unlikely (not to mention illegal) that such an action would take place.

Numerous times, President Trump has claimed that the only reason Clinton won the popular vote is because of systemic voter fraud. But in the last several weeks, mainstream media has rejected those arguments, as USA Today blared, “Fact Check: Trump Claims Massive Voter Fraud; Here’s the Truth” while The Los Angeles Times wrote, “President Trump’s Voter Fraud Allegation Is a Lie, Says California’s Top Election Officer.”

The L.A. Times article quotes Alex Padilla, the California Secretary of State, but Padilla was reluctant to go on record with other news outlets questioning his claim. Perhaps that’s because California has something of a formula for voter fraud. The process works like this:

Step 1: Shame promoter of Voter ID laws

Leftist community organizer Saul Alinsky was notorious for this stratagem — shaming, shunning and ridiculing promoters of voter ID laws. Statewide, this Alinsky-esque policy is firmly in California’s playbook; the Los Angeles Times article cited above, along with numerous others, is proof of it.

Step 2: Allow nearly instantaneous voter registration

California lets people register to vote online in as little as 15 days from Election Day. In fact, efforts have been made to promote “same-day” voter registration that would allow voters who “forgot” to register enter into the system and vote on the same day.

Step 3: Allow mail-in ballots

Why make voters vote in person? Why not allow mail-in ballots where no one has to present any ID? The fact of the matter is that California is pushing efforts to make absentee ballots the norm, rather than the exception, in voting.

Step 4: Give driver’s licenses to illegals

California spends millions of dollars giving driver’s licenses to illegal immigrants. Sure, there’s an asterisk on their promotional materials that says “Federal Limits Apply,” but do you think that matters to state officials?

Step 5: Make licensing to drive the same as voter registration

Like some other states, California has passed a law that says anyone who obtains a driver’s license is automatically registered to vote — and that includes illegal immigrants. And in California, it’s remarkably easy for illegals to obtain a driver’s license, to the extent that millions have taken advantage of this fact.

Step 6: Declaring citizenship is optional

When registering to vote, if someone neglects to check the box indicating they’re an American citizen, but the application is otherwise filled in, that person is processed and entered on the state’s voter rolls. If an illegal immigrant is foolish and checks the “No” box, indicating that they’re not a U.S. citizen, a follow-up card is sent to them requesting confirmation. If the follow-up card is returned with a “Yes” answer instead of “No,” they’re immediately added to the voter rolls.

Step 7: Never update voter registration databases

As hard as it is to believe, lists of registered voters in California are never updated with any information that disqualifies voters, including lists of newly deceased people from county coroner offices.

Of course, given how Democrats rule statewide offices and public-sector unions in the Golden State, why would state officials want to play with permanent political careers and massive pay increases for their politicians? Hundreds of million-dollar contracts with their unions keep the gravy train running, and so, all verification processes for voting have been systematically removed; it’s therefore ridiculously easy to commit voter fraud in California.

These methods are also being rolled out to some degree in other states as well. Non-profit organizations funded by leftist billionaire George Soros have fought voter ID laws nationwide while also claiming to work to “verify” votes for purposes of accuracy.

In Virginia, for example, state officials were dependent on the federal Systematic Alien Verification for Entitlements (SAVE) database to remove illegal aliens from the state’s voting lists. But Soros organizations have fought the use of SAVE and other tools like it.

By using tactics like claiming that voter ID laws will “make it harder for minorities to vote,” these organizations are able to elicit knee-jerk reactions from liberals that are difficult to combat. But clarifying articles such as this one can help citizens realize that voter ID is not just a matter of following correct procedures, but a means to prevent the circumvention of democracy itself.
