So, the left is praising Venezuela, and accusing President Donald Trump and America itself for the failure of the South American country to not fully implode and commit horrendous violations of human rights. But here’s the truth.
Venezuela lost its nut because it had one egg in its basket — oil exporting. Venezuela is rich in oil. They have it in spades, and it’s of a higher quality than what you can get from other places. Unfortunately for Venezuela, the Saudis control the global oil market, and the Saudis decided that Venezuela needed to be taught a lesson.
The Saudis used the same pressure they always use to convince many major countries to stop doing business with Venezuela. If you do a search on why Venezuela went broke, you’ll get a slew of reasons. But this is the cause of all those symptoms you’ll read about.
Once Venezuela lost its ability to do business with much of the international community of nations, they fell apart quite naturally. If the US had anything to do with it, it was the fact that there was not criticism of the Saudis.
Since then, the borderline communist government of Venezuela has dealt with their starving population brutally. For example, it is illegal in Venezuela to report that hospitals are starving children. You have to say that the child died from “wasting disease.”
You can blame the Saudis fairly. But in the end, the problem with Venezuela stems from forcing all of its people to support a mono-economy which failed.

Evidently Omar’s staff didn’t research her Muslim hero Barack Obama who, while sitting on the fence on the Keystone Pipeline decision, signed agreement to buy oil from his fellow socialist in Venezuela.
No telling how much damage she can do in just one term. She needs to go now!

actually while Venezuela has 5the most oil in the world much of it is HEAVY crude which commands a lower price. It can also be easily replaced by the Alberta tar sands crude (for the heavy oil refineries on the gulf coast) if we EVER approve the XP pipeline.
