Modern-day liberals are the poster children for intolerance, and the self-proclaimed “woke” secular forces are leveling disgraceful attacks on Christian businesses and charitable organizations.
During the Obama years, anti-Christian groups were encouraged to attack Christians with impunity. The previous administration was open arms to elevating secular and Muslim rights over Christians and Jews. Former President Barack Obama went as far as to undermine long-standing ally Israel in favor of Muslim nations, and insisted hard-working Americans scuttle the greeting “Merry Christmas” in favor of the secular “happy holidays.”
The tone, tenure, and Obama-Biden policies were overtly anti-Christian and anti-Jew, although the pair spoke out both sides of their mouth on the issue. People of faith and intolerant woke liberals understood that American Christians were under siege. The historic upset of Hillary Clinton in the 2016 elections by President Donald Trump and Vice President Mike Pence stopped the subtle atheist secularization of the country, and the left has since declared war.
“Some of the loudest voices for tolerance today have little tolerance for traditional Christian beliefs,” Pence said at the 46th Liberty University commencement. “So, as you go about your daily life, just be ready, because you are going to be asked not just to tolerate things that violate your faith, you’re going to be asked to censor them, to bow down to the idols of popular culture.”
The vice president’s words have resonated through the American landscape as left-wing hate groups relentlessly targeted charities such as the Salvation Army and private franchises, including Chick-fil-A. The fast-food franchise has been discriminated against by LGBTQ organizations and even liberal elected officials who tried to ban the company from college campuses and airports. In November, Chick-fil-A decision-makers made a deal with the woke agitators to stop donating to Christian organizations, including the Paul Anderson Youth Home and Fellowship of Christian Athletes, and Salvation Army, among others, in an effort to placate LGBTQ hate.
Chick-fil-A has already begun donating to historically left-wing extremists groups such as the Southern Poverty Law Center and others that are diametrically opposed to conservative Christian values. But what Chick-fil-A is fast discovering that its show of cowardice has woke liberals smelling blood in the water. In Canada, woke mobs have gone on the offensive.
“Canada supports diversity,” protestors outside a Chick-fil-A franchise reportedly said. “Chick-fil-A is a homophobe, fear-mongering,” and “pushing an agenda that is hateful and is something that should not be welcomed in Canada. I really don’t want to see them in this country.”
There’s a reason that governments have a standing policy to never negotiate with terrorists. That’s because once they get their hooks into you, the slow bloodletting never stops. Winning a fight with Chick-fil-A has only emboldened the misguiding radicals who want to tear Christian values down one brick at a time.
Numerous woke LGBTQ organizations have been front and center in the attacks on Christian charity organizations. So intolerant have the liberal extremists become that openly gay South Bend Mayor and Democrat presidential hopeful Pete Buttigieg has come under attack for his Christianity and association with the Salvation Army. The gay community publication, Out, published a scathing rebuke under the headline, “Pete Buttigieg Volunteered for the Homophobic Salvation Army.”
“The gesture would be super nice of Buttigieg if the Salvation Army didn’t have a well-documented history of discriminating against LGBTQ+ people in need,” the Out article reportedly stated. “And while that’s all admirable, it’s still fighting against decades of persecution and intolerance justified by religion. Even famously homophobic chicken peddlers Chick-fil-A recently severed its relationship with the Salvation Army, and when you’re gay and less sensitive about anti-queerness than Chick-fil-A, that’s pretty bleak.”
Contrary to what hate-laden wokesters believe, the Salvation Army remains an evangelical-based organization that provides financial assistance, resources, and food for struggling people regardless of race, gender, or sexual orientation. The organization has approximately 1.5 members worldwide who Billy Graham reportedly said are the embodiment of “Christianity in action.” The Salvation Army “soldiers” vow to help the needy and further clean living free of alcoholism, drug addiction, and other challenges confronting everyday people. That is what the liberal woke activists are fighting against.
The Salvation Army has been there to help people down on their luck including single Moms and Those to be moms. The Salvation Army is the embodiment of helping the needy. More Christians give so willingly while the left hate mongers don’t give but are there tearing at the fabric of love and support.
It is very sad that Chic succumbed to the Left. Hobby Lobby fought and kept their Christian business practices. To decide to not give to Salvation Army Christian Athletics when being Christian is not tolerated by the left and to fight for our beliefs no matter what setting we are in is becoming more and more necessary and very important. I am very weary of the Left their LGBTQ agenda which is being forced on me and sad to see Christians of any faith going along with this agenda. Again sorry that Chic did not stand firm but caved.

It is beyond sad. They are violating their own principles. While I don’t want to see them go under, I will choose not to patronize Chic-Fil-A any longer. I don’t want a nickel of mine going to the groups that they are now supporting. I believe CFA will see the folly of their actions, since Christians will probably not go there as often, and for sure the gays won’t.

As a long time supporter of The Salvation Army, this grossness sickens me. The Salvation Army does more to help all others at less expense than any other organization throughout the world. The Salvation Army should be held up as an example of how to run a successful charity unlike the Red Cross or Goodwill where their CEOs walk away with millions each year, The Army gives back millions into every community while serving the LGBQT community equally.
Please understand that these “woke” folks don’t care about facts but only that they can spread more hate while The Army continues to spread love. The woke love only themselves.

How do Christians start boycotting Chicken-turn-their back-fil-a. We Christians need to send a message to these companies that surrender their beliefs for an extra few bucks. I am really disappointed.
I travel overseas frequently and only when you get outside the United States into eastern and north African countries do you realize the deep value of Christian beliefs and their impact on helping lives to know their value as a human being. True Christianity is not intolerant. It never forces anyone to adhere to it’s beliefs, they simply have a choice to embrace Christ or not. I just want to remind believers, that following Christ has always had a price to pay, even as many did in the time of Christ on this earth. Believers in many anti-Christian nations are willing to pay that price. We in the United State have been convinced as followers of Christ, that we are exempt from persecution and so we are caving into pressure not stand for the teachings of the Word of God. Jesus is truth, His Word is truth and we must come to the place that we are willing to pay the price necessary for Truth, even if it affects our wallets. Believers of many nations that we buy their products every day of our lives are literally dying for their faith in Jesus. Can we be as willing as they are?
I, for one am sick and tired of 3% of the population (LGBTQ) trying to dictate how the other 97% should react. If they want to live that life-style, let them, but don’t try to push their sick, depraved life-style on the rest of us! Looking at the years 2008-2016, because of a President that was bound and determined to force the downfall of the United States as we knew it, we have been forced to live a life that is against our basic beliefs. He tried to force us to give up “Christmas” for “Holiday”, advanced “Political Correctness” to the point that everything that we said made us feel guilty unless it conformed with the Progressive way of thinking, forced schools to change, etc. Three percent of the population should not dictate how we address God and Christianity.
This country was founded on God; end of discussion. Because of what was happening in Europe, we opened our arms to all religions, but the majority of people were seeking one way or another to worship God and Christ. Now this small minority (3%) want to take away our right to praise God and give it all up to satisfy them. NO WAY!!

I was so tickled with Chick filet years ago when we all lined up in their drive-throughs etc.to support them because they stood up for their Christian values. But now I am disappointed in them for giving in. WHY did they?? it is true that bullies see this as a weakness, and will bleed them to death. Bullies just have to be stopped in their tracks. it is true in the schoolyard, and it is true in this case too.

I think we should all seriously consider how to respond to chick filet’s recent decision to with draw support from the Salvation Army etc. The left would find reason to celebrate when we attack our own. I am reminded of Matthew 18:15 and Galatians 6:1. Of course I am dismayed at their decision but I don’t want my response to resemble the behavior of the enemy. The first response should be prayer and then follow biblical avenues. I for one have not gone to them in a kind way asking them to reverse their decision. That should be a first action. Remember who our battle is against.

I find it hard to be civil about this. By their own words and actions, these “tolerant”, “open minded”, “let’s-all-live-together”, “live-and-let-live”, “inclusive” individuals and organizations, ‘woke” to show a level of bigotry and viciousness that remind me of the black shirts, brown shirts, Bolsheviks, and Kumar Rouge (sp.?) that also had government support. Biology, a hard science, verifies the obvious that females and males are different and there are genetic, as well as physiological differences. Biology also dictates that homosexuality is a biological defect and a species dead end. What is wrong with accepting reality, also known as (aka) truth? In addition, I prefer to live under biblical standards rather than mob tyranny.
