One of the nation’s most influential conservative voices is sounding off on a cold fact many already know: Donald Trump is now the face of the American right.
“Trumpism is not a detour, after which we can all get back on the interstate to the New World Order,” Pat Buchanan recently said.
Buchanan’s sentiments are reflected in the president’s actions. In a meeting with business leaders to discuss his new tax reform bill, Donald Trump made it clear why he is not only the president, but that he is the true ideological leader of the Republican Party.
Many of the Never-Trumpers have been found to have been complicit in the Uranium One scandal which is threatening to demolish the Democratic leadership. This has made it clear to the people who voted for Trump based that they were right about him all along. Donald Trump is the spearhead of a cultural shift that is a direct existential threat to the global ruling class.
The Never-Trumpers no longer seem to have much of a foothold as Trump carries the party, and the nation forward. Even the New York Times had to recognize the fact in a recent article; “Despite the fervor of President Trump’s Republican opponents, the president’s brand of hard-edged nationalism — with its gut-level cultural appeals and hard lines on trade and immigration — is taking root within his adopted party.”
Of course, they couldn’t help but call him a simple-minded racist, but nowadays, being called names by the left is sometimes the best indication that you’re doing the right thing.
The fact remains that since Trump was elected, even before his inauguration, he has been using his good business sense to revitalize the economy. He is leading the Republican Party in accordance with true conservative principles; small government, lower taxes, free market principles, and a relatively non-internationalist foreign policy. These are ideals that have had to find refuge in the libertarian party for as long as neo-cons have been had their way.
Certainly, you’ve noticed the way the liberal media and the establishment have had nothing bad to say about John McCain, who – like Hillary – has been in favor of every military action on the table. McCain is the best existence proof you could ask for of unAmerican globalists infecting both parties.
One of the most impressive examples of how Trump is leading from in front is the way he is handling the effort by his administration to deliver tax reform. He has not revealed the details of his plan, unlike previous presidents who would show all their cards – or pretend to – early in the game.
This is pure Trump magic. Why? Because so far, all of the criticism of his tax plan by Democrats is completely unfounded. They say Trump’s tax reform will benefit only the rich. But they don’t know what is in the plan. It proves that they will say his tax plan is designed to benefit the wealthy no matter what. If they had a copy of the plan to review, they would not read it and say it benefits the rich. Saying it only benefits the rich while not having it feels the same to them. They just reflexively make accusations.
Everything Trump does appears to be designed to make the opposition embarrass themselves and prove that they would make the same moves they are making no matter what Trump says or does. He is proving that they are only out to obstruct, whether it is good for the country or not- and at the same time, he’s getting results.
At the meeting with business leaders that Trump held last week, as he was talking about how his tax reform will bring financial relief to citizens and businesses while simplifying the tax code more than ever before, ranking establishment infiltrator Steve Mnuchen appeared to turn pale. As Trump emphasized the fact that his tax plan will bring the lowest taxes and the simplest filing procedures that this country has ever seen, you could just see Mnuchen’s stomach turning.
As yet, some of Trump’s campaign promises appear to be on the back burner- like the wall. But we know that preliminary moves are being made. Contractors have been selected and they are currently competing over which of them can come up with the best design. And, there’s a sickening amount of heel-dragging from people who want the country to be overrun by potential democrat voters.
