The Heritage Foundation recently released a video about the organization, Black Lives Matter, and what it actually has to do with black lives. Most people believe the organization is one with a noble dedication to seek equal treatment under the law for people of all races. They hear a vocal plea to secure life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness for everyone. But that isn’t what the organization actually stands for according to the video. Here’s what the video reveals.
Beginning with organization leaders, Alicia Garza, Opal Tometi, and Patrisse Cullors who claim to be trained Marxists. Then visit the organization’s website to explore the list of organizational demands. These demands include calls to “Disrupt the Western-prescribed nuclear family structure requirement by supporting each other as extended families and “villages” that collectively care for one another.”
Unfortunately, that isn’t the only goal this organization has hidden behind the guise of an innocent call for justice. The radical nature of this organization seeks to dismantle our current society by removing the most basic of its building blocks. It’s more than defunding the police, for instance. They seek to remove the family as the cornerstone of American society and replacing it with state control and then destroying the economic system we currently have in place.
The Heritage Foundation video goes on to state that this is actually an organization that will only create greater injustice in the long run — one that must be rejected. It’s easy to want to support people who are crying out for justice and equality. Everyone wants that for our fellow citizens. But this is not what Black Lives Matter stands for. In fact, it has nothing to do with race and everything to do with breaking down societal norms and eliminating societal protections. The only way they are dedicated to equality is in ensuring that everyone, of all races, is equally miserable.
It’s important to remember that Marxist organizations and governments all have one thing in common — and the idea behind it can be found in the novel, Animal Farm. “All animals are equal, but some animals are more equal than others.”
The only people who will ultimately benefit from this organization are those who are positioned at or near the top. Everyone else loses. Watch the full video below.
