The Democratic Party and the establishment media may have pushed enough fake narratives and committed enough voter fraud to flip the White House, but Trumpism isn’t going anywhere.
Since President Donald Trump burst on to the political scene in 2016, everyday Americans were treated to straight talk seldom if ever heard from the political class. Political elites had sold the country out starting with disgraced ex-President Bill Clinton. American jobs were outsourced and our republic no longer faced rogue nations such as North Korea and Iran head-on. The Obama years were a groveling and placating disgrace to American greatness.
The land of the free and home of the brave appeared too weak to lead. former President Barack Obama took that sentiment and created a lead-from-behind administration rife with corruption with Hillary Clinton at the Department of State and Joe Biden’s family lining their pockets through influence peddling. President Trump changed the trajectory of a country that mirrored the decline and fall of the once-mighty Roman Empire. His motto was simple — America First. More concisely, Trumpism is about Americans First.
The primary reason that Trumpism has been permanently stitched into the very fabric of America can be traced to one consistent theme through his presidency — winning. Trump won on the economy. Unemployment fell to historic lows and, before the pandemic, there were more job opportunities than people to fill them. Wages rose and manufacturing trickled back to the homeland. These were concepts Obama said were a fantasy. Trump would need a “magic wand” to bring back American jobs, according to Obama. That, as we all clearly know now, was a lie.
It was a lie to cover-up the slow bloodletting of treasonous politicians such as Obama, Biden, and Hillary who put America last and cashed in with big corporations and foreign powers. Trumpism laid these facts bare for all to see. Democrats and the co-conspirators in the fake news media can no longer get away with lame excuses and finger-pointing. Trumpism proved to working families that America First succeeds.
That’s largely why Democrats lost the 2020 elections, regardless of who sits in the Oval Office. Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi repeatedly assured her radicals that a Blue Wave was coming in 2018 and 2020. A Republican Red Tide closely aligned with Trumpian values maintained the Senate in 2018, and increased its ranks in the House in 2020. What Pelosi, Chuck Schumer, and AOC’s so-called “Squad” cannot comprehend is that GOP candidates flipped seats by running on Trumpism.
In fact, President Trump and GOP candidates upended the left-wing strategy of “Identity Politics” that pits people of different races, genders, and backgrounds against one another. More Blacks, Latinos, and LGBTQ community members reportedly voted for President Trump in 2020 than in 2016. Why? They were winning. Groups that were seen as marginalized discovered that America First isn’t for one group or another. If you are an American, Trumpism is for you.
And what left-wing zealots fail to acknowledge is that Trump delivered on campaign promises “experts” in the fake news media told everyone — straight-faced and with conviction in their voices — were impossible. These included stopping the senseless foreign wars U.S. soldiers died in and taxpayers accumulated national debt to fight. The Middle East is no longer a hotbed of insurgents funded by Iran. Instead, the regime’s top general was struck down in plain sight. The world’s leading sponsor of terrorism has been broken economically and isolated.
With Iran sidelines, peace agreements have been brokered with Muslim nations and Israel due to Trumpism. Even more incomprehensible before the age of Trump, Saudi Arabia is now a close U.S. ally. This was unimaginable before a man with no previous political experience was enlisted to Make America Great Again.
No matter what domestic or foreign policy GOP leaders look at today, tomorrow, or in the future, it will be weighed against the winning, pro-American ideals of Trumpism.
