Tucker Carlson: Why is the Media Overhyping Impeachment Hearings?

When the American people elect representatives to the House every two years, they do so with the hope that those representatives will work to make our country a better place. This is what Democrats elected to the House in 2018 were voted in to do.

However, rather than creating policies meant to better our nation, or even working toward healing the damaging divide that the United States is suffering from, House Democrats have done nothing with their power except attempt to remove a duly elected President from office.

The undeniable reality is that impeachment hearings are not what the country needs right now. So long as Republicans maintain control of the Senate, President Donald Trump is not going to be removed from office. With this being the case, these hearings are nothing more than a political ploy – one that may help or hurt the Democratic party but one that is almost certain to hurt the nation at-large. They certainly aren’t going to do the country any good or do anything to heal our deepening divide.

Nevertheless, House Democrats have made it abundantly clear that combatting Trump is their only priority – a priority that seems to rank well above doing the job they were elected to do.

Tucker Carlson nails it in the video below.

  1. Mr. Carlson’s final words in this video were important. The President is elected by the people and has their express authority to make foreign policy for the country. The bureaucrats have a responsibility to carry that policy out. Period.

By the way, the suggestion that the president has Rudi Gulliani “going around the system” is pure nonsense. Have we forgotten that Obama had 30 some odd czars “going around the system” and nobody objected to that?

  2. Ken Marx–what rock were you hiding under back in the Obama administration? From the right, there were torrents of objection to those so-called “czars”. Do you just make up stuff like Carlson does??

    • He, like the rest of us, was not hiding under a rock during the Obama years. We saw first hand that he did whatever he wanted, legal or illegal, while all of you were kissing his butt. Tucker is not a Republican or a Democrat, he just calls it like he sees it.
