There’s something we need to sort out. What we call liberalism here in the US is not actually liberalism in the classic sense. Most people in America who call themselves “liberal” — and certainly Washington Democrats — believe in overbearing government coercion. They believe the government’s job is to force people to live the way they think people should live. There is nothing liberal about that at all. They are not liberals. True liberals are a lot more like libertarians.
Alright, so we need to understand that we are using the word in a corrupted way when we call people like Hillary Clinton liberal, because that woman is a monster. Finally, just for completeness, it’s worth mentioning that it is quite possible for a person to be conservative and truly liberal.
The people we call liberal these days are callow, blame mongering, and entitled. They believe they are owed part of the fruit of your productivity. Worse still, they believe it is your job to pay for their misfortunes, their shortcomings, and their abortions.
What they are missing is the greatly enriching experience of enduring hardship with grace and dignity — and the wisdom producing effect of pulling victory out of the trousers of defeat. It is a violent mindset, and at every place and time this mindset has gained power over governments, it has killed many and oppressed many more.
What you’re about to see is an example of what happens when this mentality encounters the assertion that a person should take responsibility for their life.

Wait!!!! You seem to have forgotten something. Former vice president Al Gore, you remember him, made mucho money by being the spokesperson for “global Warming” and changed the name to “climate Control.”
Al Gore said this treacherous happening is life threatening to wild life, ice pack melting will cause the ocean to flood New York City totally.
Al Gore SAID IT, and therefore we MUST believe it and DO AS WE ARE TOLD TO DO. But WE never had public debate by experts, from the Al Gore C amp.
This is right on the money. Dictating societal issues to solve individual character issues is a failure from the start. The fools on the left have systematically destroyed every vestige of self-control and decency they can. In the resulting vacuum, the world continues to become a much worse place. Now that their actions have successfully transformed our society, they complain and demand more change to cover over the problems they created. Just like a damn cat biting its tail!
Amen Paul ! That is precisely the situation – we mere mortals may have gained some insight into predicting the “Weather” but when it comes to “Climate” that is a very different beast. Mankind may well be able to effect weather on a local scale, but the planets’ climatic system runs on drivers far beyond our control ( assuming we are restricted to non-world-destructive-forces such as thermo-nuclear ).
Politicians and climate-change nuts need to remember that Climate is something global and no amount of gimikry will change its constant natural seeking of a balance. Climate has “Changed” from the moment this Earth was “Born” and will continue to do so until the day it dies from whatever cause – it won’t be simply “Change” !!
The so-called experts on our climate are all wrong in my opinion. The weather has always confused men, and one has to be lucky to even forecast it. So I contend that God is the only entity that can and does control our weather systems. That has been my experience for 85 yrs.
Very well done Mr. Prager, the distinction between the two polar opposites of self improvement v. community/society improvement. Societal improvement forced on a society by morally bankrupt leadership is totalitarianism, plain and simple. The PC Culture is a good example too. They’re so preoccupied with political correctness, that they fail to realize that it’s simply fascism masquerading as manners. The collateral damage PC has done will never truly be understood until it’s too late. Look at the push to accept new and unproven theories of the Gender Dysphoria phenomenum. Activists turning their back on empirically proven Science all for the acceptence of the PC approved pseudo-science of “feelings.” It’s no longer deviant or abnormal behaviour because of feelings. The obvious contradictions escape the activists and greater than 99% of the population has to change their thinking and response to a less than 1% of the overall population’s vapid attempt to legitimize their Mental Illness.
You really can’t change how people think. You can only change how “you” think, about anything. The Left doesn’t accept that. We wonder how events such as the Holocaust could have happened, and then we look at the parallels between Leftist extremism and Hitler’s rise. The parallels are as disturbing as they are frightening.
The truly sad thing, is seeing these activists being confronted with truths, and recognizing that they’re so brainwashed, the realities of their extreme positions doesn’t register.
