4 Obama Cronies That Might Belong In Jail

The Obama Administration played its hand in the 2016 election and lost. Now, with the GOP in control of key agencies such as the Department of Justice and the ouster of FBI Director James Comey, facts are surfacing that several Obama cronies may belong behind bars.

With any luck, these four key figures will be brought to justice as the Trump Administration and the Republican-led Congress unmask the actions of these bad actors.

#1. Eric Holder

Recent reports indicate the U.S. House Judiciary Committee has come into possession of an email that may prove to be the undoing of former U.S. Attorney General Eric Holder.

During his Obama-era tenure, he turned Justice Department financial penalties into a leftist slush fund. He allowed companies to reach settlements with the government by making contributions to left-leaning groups with no relation to the legal issue.

Watchdog groups have been on Holder’s heels for years, and the House committee says it has a correspondence that Obama cronies such as Holder balked at a 2014 settlement agreement because they objected to the funds going to a non-profit organization that worked in the area of “conservative property-rights legal services.

President Trump ended the DOJ’s practice of sending settlement money to organizations. Current U.S. Attorney General Jeff Sessions is on the record stating that settlement money should be directed to victims. Holder needs to be held accountable.

#2. Lois Lerner

Lerner was a mid-level civil servant at the IRS until the Obama took the White House. After that, she became the central actor targeting Conservative PACs and specifically Tea Party organizations.

Lerner became infamous for slow-walking right-wing group’s applications and requiring multiple information requests. Ultimately, she prevented numerous conservative groups from gaining tax-exempt status before the 2012 election. As the head of the Exempt Organizations Unit, she effectively impeded the First Amendment rights of conservatives by using powerful IRS tools to stop people from forming PACs.

In a related issue, the James Comey-led FBI concluded that the IRS showed “substantial evidence of mismanagement, poor judgment and institutional inertia.” However, the FBI reportedly “found no evidence that any IRS official acted based on political, discriminatory, corrupt, or other inappropriate motives that would support a criminal prosecution.”

Of course, many now believe Comey was himself an Obama crony worthy of prosecution.

#3. James Comey

There has a been a firestorm surrounding ex-FBI chief James Comey from the moment he decided to overstep the sitting U.S. Attorney General and exonerate Hillary Clinton in the email scandal.

The average person tends to have the same exact thing to say about Hillary . . . “If that were you or me, we’d be in jail.” That was true of a Navy submarine operator who took a snapshot inside the vessel to remember his service. He did prison time for that minor security breach. Even the left-wing media outlets are throwing Comey under the bus these days.

Reports are circulating the former FBI director was drafting his Hillary exoneration statement long in advance of concluding the investigation. Either Comey can see the future, or he was planning to obstruct justice from the very beginning. Fortunately, U.S. Rep. Trey Gowdy is not letting the matter go away. Gowdy’s dogged pursuit of the facts and justice may land the former chief law enforcement official in jail.

Keep in mind, Comey testified under oath that he only decided to come forward and exonerate Hillary after an issue with Obama’s attorney general. The time line doesn’t appear to hold water.

#4. Eric Ken Shinseki

As many as 300,000 may have died on former Veterans Affairs Secretary Eric Ken Shinseki’s watch awaiting care.

Following a 2014 Inspector General report, it was concluded that approximately 800,000 records were log jammed in the system, and the VA had been concealing records pertaining to wait times. Whistleblowers were being threatened and silenced and one physician was relegated to not seeing patients due to criticism of the ineffective policies and procedures.

One patient file was listed as “pending” after the veteran had died 14 years earlier awaiting treatment. Reports of secret waiting lists were common practice under Shinseki. These allowed VA brass to falsely tout improved efficiencies.

Veterans died and Shinseki was quietly shuffled out with a full retirement package. Perhaps he should face the music at some point.
