Evidence of extreme bias and partisan misconduct within the FBI continues to pile up, becoming more and more egregious with each new story that breaks.
Recently, new text messages have been released showing that FBI officials conspired to meet with and develop a personal relationship with the judge who was overseeing the case against former National Security Advisor Mike Flynn.
In what should come as a surprise to no one at this point, the text messages were once again exchanged between FBI agent Peter Strozk and his senior FBI lawyer mistress Lisa Page. It was the text messages between Strozk and Page that first revealed evidence of bias and partisanship among FBI officials in charge of handling the investigation into Trump’s campaign. However, the most recent messages between the two which have now been made public were originally redacted by the FBI and not presented to Congress.
After a back and forth with Page about Judge Rudolph Contreras – the judge overseeing Mike Flynn’s case – which included Strozk expressing his desire to meet with Contreras, Strozk said, “Generally he does know what I do. Not the level or scope or area but he’s super thoughtful and rigorous about ethics and conflicts. (redacted) suggested a social setting with others would probably be better than a one on one meeting. I’m sorry, I’m just going to have to invite you to that cocktail party. Of course you’ll be there. Have to come up with some other work people cover for action.”
Earlier in the exchange, Peter Strozk expressed his concern that meeting with Judge Contreras and discussing the case would present a conflict of interest that would cause the judge to recuse himself from the case. Strozk’s solution was to throw a dinner party so that the judge would feel more at ease about the situation.
According to the Federalist, “The text messages that show Page and Strzok conspiring to meet with Contreras were originally hidden from Congress. In records provided by DOJ to Congress, the exchanges referencing Contreras, and plans to meet with him under the guise of a cocktail party, were completely redacted by federal law enforcement officials. The exchanges obtained by The Federalist include information that was never turned over to Congress.”
It’s interesting to note that Judge Contreras did later recuse himself from the case, but not before accepting a guilty plea from Flynn on the charges of making false statements to federal investigators. One day after Flynn submitted his plea, the New York Times broke the story that Peter Strozk had been removed from the investigation by Special Counsel Robert Mueller due to extreme bias against the president that was made evident in his text exchanges with Lisa Page.
The text messages known at the time of the New York Times story were exchanged between Strozk and Page during the 2016 election. In these messages, Strozk described the Russia collusion investigation as an “insurance policy” against a Trump presidency. He and Page both expressed doubts that Trump would defeat Clinton, but discussed the investigation as a way to bring Trump down in the unlikely event that he did win the election.
Of course, Donald Trump did go on to win the election, and the political hit job that is the Russia collusion investigation went into full swing. A damning memo released by Rep. Nunes showed evidence that the investigation was flawed and biased from the very start, detailing not only cases of extremely biased behavior such as was displayed by Peter Strozk but also detailing the fact that the evidence presented to the FISA court in order to obtain wiretap warrants on members of the Trump campaign was based on opposition research funded by the DNC and the Clinton campaign. With this latest round of shocking evidence of misconduct within the FBI now public, the argument against the validity of the Mueller investigation continues to grow stronger.
This comes at a time when Trump is reportedly considering firing Robert Mueller — a move that many Trump supporters including Rep. Trey Gowdy have deemed would reflect badly on the president and his claims of innocence. Regardless of whether Trump fires Mueller or allows his investigation to reach its conclusion, it is beyond obvious at this point that the partisan, bias behavior within the FBI has reached unacceptable levels.

They want to drag it out as a distraction. They may even have a small hope that Mueller will eventually find something however insignificant it might be. With the help of republican politicians in Congress and aided by Trump himself the democrats have effectively shut him down for the next six months with the omnibus spending bill. Then comes the midterms.

Hoover was friends with the judge and got the judge to sentence (Ethel a stay at home mom two kids) to death knowing she wasn’t guilty – Hoover felt that being taken from her children by execution could cause Ethel to cough up more spies if she was promised a reprieve. Hoover interviewed Ethel outside the gas chamber and learned that Ethel really never knew anything so hoover washed his hands of the matter and he Ethel be executed anyway because the Judge did what Hoover had wanted.

Former FBI Director James Comey has a long history of involvement in Department of Justice actions that arguably ended up favorable to the Clintons. In 2001, following the original 9/11 mass murder by the Muslim jihadists, President Bush asked the FBI to track the movements of likely Muslim jihadists; Comey and Mueller refused that request on the basis that such tracking would be “un-American”. The jihadist mass murders of Americans in Boston, Chattanooga, Orlando, Fort Hood, and San Bernardino are therefore the direct result of that irresponsible refusal. In 2004 Comey, then serving as a deputy attorney general in the Justice Department, apparently limited the scope of the criminal investigation of Sandy Berger, which left out former Clinton administration officials who may have coordinated with Berger in his removal and destruction of classified records from the National Archives. The documents were relevant to the accusations that the Clinton administration was negligent in the build-up to the 9/11 terrorist attack. Back a year or two ago, FBI director Comey announced that despite the evidence of “extreme negligence” by Hillary Clinton and her top aides regarding the handling of classified information through her unprotected private email server, the FBI would not refer criminal charges to Attorney General Loretta Lynch and the Justice Department since it was just a case of innocent negligence. Imagine a similar finding of the Nuremberg trials of the Nazi criminals: “Well – yes, Goebbels did order that 6 million Jews be exterminated – but he really did not mean it, so let him go free with an appropriate government pension”.
