How authentic are the results you’re getting from an online search of a controversial topic?
Not very, if you are using Google as your search engine, according to Breitbart and other news outlets.
The search engine giant has been manipulating search results on YouTube, selecting some pieces for display over others, even when the true results are different. According to Breitbart, Google has been tampering with YouTube search engine returns to push topics that favor a liberal agenda to the top of the results — and those that are pro-life or conservative off of the first page entirely.
The latest discovery comes after allegations that the search engine giant manipulated image search results to ensure that a picture of President Donald Trump was displayed as a first page result when the word “idiot” was searched. CEO Sundar Pihci was unable to come up with an answer when asked about the search.
“Now, manipulation of search results,” said Representative Zoe Lofgren. “I think it’s important to talk about how search works. Right now, if you Google the word ‘idiot’ under images, a picture of Donald Trump comes up, I just did that. How would that happen? How does search work so that that would occur?” Pichi claimed that there was no intervention on Google’s part, the algorytn was to blame.
While the “idiot” results played for humor, the failure to return accurate results for controversial topics is far less so. According to an internal Google memo recently leaked to Breitbart. Results from YouTube on key topics like “abortion” were manually changed to repress conservative results and values. Negative information about anti-gun activist David Hogg was also blacklisted, making these videos more difficult to find, as were results on Ben Shapiro and pro-life topics.
Slate journalist April Glaser researched a piece for the liberal leaning publication and asked Google why so many results for “abortion” were pro-life. Within a day, Google manually changed the results to feature not the true top inquiries (which were pro-life advocating videos) but pro-abortion pieces from outlets like Buzzfeed and Vice. While the journalist initially felt results were pro-life, after she contacted Google about the story, the results changed dramatically.
According to Breitbart, the items that no longer made the top ten included personal observations by a former abortion doctor, personal accounts from women expressing regret and loss after the procedure and testimony from other pro-life conservatives and activists. These stories were pushed from their rightful place at the top (based on the actual search algorithm) and replaced with pro-abortion content just days after the journalist complained.
“[It] seems like we are pretty eager to cater our search results to the social and political agenda of left-wing journalists,” one Google employee said.
Videos about abortion were not the only topics blacklisted and manually interfered with by Google. Other results that were changed include negative topics or points of view about Maxine Waters and positive information or videos from conservatives like Ben Shapiro.

Indeed things are being manipulated and they must assume we do not see it. When a post just disappears from those on the article it is a sure sign of censorship. I usually block those sites but it is getting worse. Thus far what the president sends out is not being censored but that will likely be next. It is time to take back this country from the lib left. Congress is worthless!
You are all being indoctrinated. It’s not only Google, it’s also Twitter, Snapchat, Facebook, Bing, Craigslist, Yahoo and the list goes on and on. Other than Yahoo which is headquarters in New York and Bing which is headquartered in Washington state; all of the rest are based in good ol California and what do all 3 of these states have in common? Why they are a majority Democrat.
The way I see it, is that we are slowly but surely being drawn down the communist path. Don’t believe me? Do a search on the 45 Communist goals that went through our halls of Congress in 1963. As you read them, stop and think if that goal is being accomplished today. According to my calculation 27 of them have been accomplished. This has been going on under our noses for the past 40 plus years. And as far as the so called millennials and the children that we now have in school are concerned; they are being taught by the 83% Democratic teachers in the U.S. Nuff said!
I’ve been noticing this for the last 2 months, it’s really bad now! I tried to search about Pelosi history concerning visiting troops yesterday and could find nothing. I went through 18 pages of search results using 10 different queries each time and all that came up was her plane being grounded. That’s about 180 pages I went through Unbelievable!!! Google is done!! Any suggestions for a new search engine I can rely on eventually finding the information I need?
DuckDuckGo is a great search engine that I’ve been using for some years now. I never use Google if I can avoid it!

I just tried to share this article on Facebook, and was blocked, citing offensive content. Given that the only thing offensive about it is that liberals don’t agree with it, and don’t want anyone to know about it, I’d say it’s proof that this type of censorship is indeed happening!

I saved an article about a Drug Cartel that had a Go Fund Me account raising money (10 million) to impeach Trump, by bribing the DEM’s. They had interviews with on Cartel leader, my Husband read it, the next day, I went in to show a friend and the article was NOW about Nancy Pelosi, SO where did that article go. Plus Google deleted a lot of info on Obama.
Google does much harm.
Google should be broken up into small company’s like they did AT& T and Bell that will stop all this crap
My home Pc is being HIJACKED by Google right now and has been for the last 12 days or so ! Google has been changing my search engine from BING to google and I have to change it back everyday !
