The impeachment farce has arrived at the House Judiciary Committee, where one of the fiercest opponents of the president refuses to allow Republican members to call critical witnesses. If everyday Americans thought such methods were reserved for only Third World dictatorships, they are. You are now living in one as Democrat extremists will stop at nothing to undo the 2016 election results or allow voters to re-elect President Donald Trump in 2020.
“(Adam Schiff) compared himself in the past to a special counsel. Well, if we go back to Clinton, and even back to Nixon, but in Clinton, Ken Starr was the special counsel. He presented a report that we’re going to get as Judiciary. He came and sat and testified under oath and took questions from all sides, including the White House,” Georgia Republican Doug Collins reportedly said. “Adam Schiff has been the author of many things, a lot of them found to be false over the past couple years.”
New York Rep Jerry Nadler and a majority of Democrats hold sway over the testimony, questioning, and introduction of evidence. In a move that mirrors what California Rep. Adam Schiff did in the Intelligence Committee impeachment inquiry, they are denying the most crucial witness’s testimony, namely Adam Schiff.
Rep. Schiff repeatedly interrupted Republican questions, told witnesses not to answer when the facts ran contrary to the witch hunt narrative. The American public learned that the so-called “whistleblower” had direct ties to Schiff and his staff. The congressman’s team appears to have colluded with the secret claimant. House Republicans now want Schiff and his staff to answer pointed questions under oath about issues that could include treason.
“My first and foremost witness is Adam Schiff,” Rep. Collins reportedly said. “He has put himself into that position. If he chooses not to (testify), then I really have to question his veracity in what he’s putting in his report. It’s easy to hide behind a report. But it’s going to be another thing to actually get up and have to answer questions.”
Rather than allow the author of the impeachment hoax report to provide first-hand answers, Rep. Nadler and the power-mongering Democrats are blocking the GOP request. The move is consistent with the railroad-job they orchestrated with secretive hearings and targeted leaks of false information to the fake news media. Democrats opened the Judiciary Committee hearings trolling out far-left intellectual elites. The strategy appeared to give them the fake news soundbites on media outlets such as CNN they want to justify undermining the will of voters. Some were selected for their well-known anti-Trump bias and slung mud. But like so many failed efforts by angry Democrats, they had egg on their faces by the end of the first day.
“I can’t emphasize this enough, and I’ll say it just one more time. If you impeach a president, if you make a ‘high crime and misdemeanor’ out of going to the courts, it is an abuse of power. It’s your abuse of power,” George Washington University professor Jonathan Turley reportedly told Nadler and the Democrats. “You’re doing precisely what you’re criticizing the president for doing.”

I sincerely hope that if this impeachment fiasco goes to the Senate for trial that John Roberts has enough integrity to be fair to the court process. If a witness lies, then he or she is prosecuted, if a question is asked, Schiff can’t tell them not to answer, that both side are allowed to call their witnesses without objection. All members of the Senate must be present during the trial, especially Chuck Schumer who said he wouldn’t attend. It we can’t get a fair trial here at the top, then anyone who is accused of crimes can never be assured of a fair trial.
Not only is it a waste of time and money, but they are trying to undo an election that the American public voted for – remember, we the deplorable voted for Donald Trump! We are all very concerned about foreigners interfering in our election, however, what about Google and You Tube? Spend some of that money on them so they don’t influence our votes.
If we allow Pelosi, Schiff and Nadler to continue and President Trump gets impeached, we will be a Communist and Socialist country – not a democratic or capitalist country.
