In liberal parts of the country, sanctuary cities protect illegal immigrants from being detained, prosecuted, and deported by U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement, ICE. Sadly, these places of refuge for illegals have protected violent criminals who have been allowed to further perpetrate unspeakable tragedies. Now, apologist and renowned theologian Dr. James White is pleading for Phoenix to become a sanctuary city. But, rather than harboring those who have committed crimes, White wants to protect the most vulnerable among Americans — unborn babies.
White made an emotional speech in front of the Phoenix City Council. During his presentation, the renowned theologian compared the horrible practice of abortion to the Nazi concentration camp Buchenwald. Located near Weimer, Germany, greater than 240,000 Jews were jailed at this place of torment. Approximately 43,000 souls lost their lives at Buchenwald.
At the start of his speech, White recalled the horrors of World War II.
“In April 1945, American forces were moving into the heart of Germany and they freed a city called Weimar,” White said. “It’s a beautiful little city. Right up on the hill outside of Weimar was a very large camp. We know it today as the Buchenwald concentration camp. What they found there has become stuff of legend. But for example, the camp superintendent’s wife was fascinated by human skin. She had a lampshade made of human skin. She was fascinated by tattoos that she would have people killed and have their tattoos preserved.”
During his discussion of World War II, White relayed how shocked former U.S. President Dwight D. Eisenhower and General George S. Patton were when they toured Buchenwald.
“General Patton commanded that the mayor and magistrates and leading citizens of Weimar be forced to tour the camp to see what had been done right under their eyes for many years,” White continued. “Now, most of us would say that was a moral act on the part of the Americans.”
He told his audience that history hasn’t been kind to the citizens of Weimar due to them keeping “their eyes down.” The renowned theologian explained that the people maintained they knew nothing about the horrible actions that took place so close to their homes.
Pivoting to the present, White remarked, “The reality is, within the borders of the city of Phoenix, more innocent children have been killed in equally gruesome ways than were ever killed in the Buchenwald concentration camp in the entire years that it was in operation. How will history look at us? Will there be a General Patton who has to rise from the dead and force us to walk through the abortuaries? How will the judge of all history look upon us when we stand before him? He knows whether we knew or not. And we live in a day where there’s no reason not to know what’s going on. Not to know the humanity of the pre-born child.”
Before ending his remarks to the Phoenix City Council, White inquired whether or not God would look at the donations received from Planned Parenthood. He concluded by saying, “I ask you, please make the city of Phoenix a sanctuary city for pre-born children. Save us from the infamy of and cowardice of Weimar.”
Since President Donald Trump took office, important strides have been made in the pro-life movement. Recently, the Georgia legislature passed HB 481, referred to as the “heartbeat bill.” The measure would ban most abortions after the six-week mark, the time in a pregnancy when a fetal heartbeat can usually be detected. Despite tremendous pressure from Hollywood, Governor Brian Kemp has promised to sign the bill into law soon.
A federal appeals court also recently upheld the constitutionality of a Kentucky law demanding physicians perform ultrasounds and show fetal images to patients before conducting abortions. Besides legislative measures, poignant movies about abortion have hit theaters in recent months including “Gosnell: The Trial of America’s Biggest Serial Killer” and “Unplanned.”

Democrats are Godless. They call for killing babies and allowing Americans to be murdered by illegals. They want to allow 16-year-olds, ILLEGAL ALIENS, and incarcerated felons to vote – because they’re desperate. But they don’t care about the American people. I’m beginning to wonder what kind of heartless young women we’ve raised. Are they really so selfish they’d put their fun and social life above the life of their helpless son or daughter? Someday, in the not too distant future, they’re going to realize just what a horrible mistake they’ve made. I feel sorry for people who are so self-centered.
