Why Are Leftists Trying So Hard to Re-Program Our Language?

Have you ever seen a NowThis video? If you have some “woke” individuals on your social media feeds, chances are you have scrolled past them a dozen times. As the talent in the video below so adequately puts it, they reek of “2015 energy.”

As you may have guessed, most of these videos focus on being as woke as possible — that is, embracing political correctness, the LGBTQ+ agenda, and whatever the progressive flavor of the week is. These are some of the same people that dropped “here’s how Bernie can still win” headlines just weeks before President Donald Trump was inaugurated. Even some of your Democrat friends may tell you that this content is pure cringe.

And that’s really the thought experiment that we want to run today after watching the video below — are everyday Democratic voters really as crazy as their mainstream media pundits of choice want them to be? Do they really sit up at night crying because the word “guys” is a gendered term? Or, is some two-bit media corporation just trying to cash in on the fading political correctness fad? It isn’t going to last forever — no cultural trend does.

Far-left progressives often struggle to get their ideas past people in their immediate circle — that is, people that are already predisposed to agree with whatever they say. Perhaps this is why they feel the need to reprogram how we communicate with each other. But as Shoe0nHead finds in the video below, that doesn’t always go over so smoothly.

Watch the video below for a breakdown on one of the dumbest progressive trends we’ve seen in a long time.
